About the event

At 6:00 pm. EVRG welcomes EVA Executive Director, Marco Li Mandri, and District Manager, Dominic Li Mandri, to share city revitalization history, insights and objectives focused on the economic vitality of East Village businesses, followed by a QA session.  EVRG will then welcome CD3 Councilmember Whitburn at 6:45 pm with focus on Unsafe Camping Ordinance and Mayor Todd Gloria at 7:00 pm to highlight San Diego Safe Sleeping Sites as it focuses on recovery and long-term housing solutions for our underserved neighbors.   All presenters are anticipated to balance Gallagher Square concerns within their presentations and response to questions.

The Mayor and Councilmember will 'panel' QA 7:15-7:30 pm session, responding to selected questions.

All questions must be in writing. The EVRG Board will select amongst the written questions to maximize the opportunity to read a balance of attendee concerns during the available QA timeframes. Lengthier questions may be summarized to optimize question and reply opportunity. All questions will be forwarded in their entirety for written replies. Replies will be posted on this event page.

EVRG is appreciative of Storyhouse Spirits, host of this Quarterly Event, and Deep Dive to follow.  Their food and bar menu is at https://storyhousespirits.com/

For those preferring to join virtually:  EVRG 7.13.2023 Community Meeting is scheduled 6:00-7:30 pm. EVA presentation is expected to start at approximately 6:10 p.m. following informal introductions.  Virtual questions submitted by Chat will be considered in mix of questions asked Thursday evening and will be included with written questions, anticipating replies.
